About Us Micro Processing Technology, Inc. (MPT) was founded in 1996 to develop and build custom and semi-custom automated systems for the semiconductor and biotech industries. In 2010 MPT was asked by a major semiconductor manufacturer to participate in a joint development effort to solve the problem of separating back metal after plasma dicing. This work led to MPT�s specialization in processes and equipment for back metal separation. MPT is located in the San Francisco bay area just south of the beautiful Napa and Sonoma wine countries and north of the high-tech Silicon Valley. Meet Our Founder and Key Personnel: P.C. Lindsey, Founder and President Mr. Lindsey leads technology development at Micro Processing Technology. He has over thirty years experience in the semiconductor industries. He was the founder and CEO of two previous successful semiconductor equipment companies. Prior to these business ventures, he held key technical positions at Texas Instruments, Motorola, Avantek, MACOM, and Tegal. Mr. Lindsey received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T.
